Adam Williams

Adam Williams, PhD, is a Principal UX Researcher at Esri since September 2022, focusing on foundational and evaluative studies across web, marketing, events, and product design. Prior to Esri, Adam served as a Staff UX Researcher/Manager at Matterport and a Staff UX Researcher at OLX Group, where responsibilities included leading mixed methods research and managing international projects. Adam's experience also includes a role as Senior UX Researcher at Uber, overseeing product and design research and contributing to projects like Uber Pro and Uberversity. Earlier, Adam worked at eBay as a Content Strategy Manager and taught at Sonoma State University and the University of Colorado Boulder, where Adam also conducted research supported by prestigious grants. Adam holds a BA from Dartmouth College and multiple degrees in Geography from the University of Colorado Boulder, including a PhD.
