Wei Zhang

Wei Zhang has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Cybersecurity at Essex Lake Group since September 2020.

Prior to this, they worked at Citi for a significant period of time. Their roles at Citi include Senior Security Architect (SVP) from November 2017 to September 2020, VP, Information Security Officer from April 2013 to November 2017, VP, Architect Specialist from an unknown start date to April 2013, and VP, Team Lead from an unknown start date to an unknown end date in 2010.

Throughout their various roles at Citi, Wei Zhang demonstrated expertise in security program management, risk management, security controls, and mitigation.

Wei Zhang completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanics at Peking University from 1987 to 1991. Subsequently, from 1999 to 2000, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Cincinnati. In terms of certifications, they obtained the CISSP certification from (ISC)² in November 2014 and the CCSP certification from (ISC)² in September 2021. Additionally, Wei Zhang has a certification called CSSLP, but the date of obtaining this certification is unknown.
