Patrick LeBlanc

Patrick LeBlanc has an extensive work experience, starting with their current position as a Software Engineering Manager at Essex Management, LLC since March 2023. Prior to this, they were a Principal Software Engineer at the same company from January 2021 to April 2023.

Before joining Essex Management, LLC, Patrick worked as a Principal Software Engineer at MariaDB Corporation from September 2018 to October 2020. Patrick also served as a Senior Software Engineer at TUNE from March 2015 to September 2018, and at JDSU from September 2014 to March 2015.

Patrick's early career includes their role as a Senior Software Engineer at InfiniDB, Inc. from July 2006 to September 2014. Prior to that, they worked as a Computer Security Research Scientist at Network Associates / McAfee / SPARTA Inc. from October 2001 to July 2006, where they contributed to the development of Mandatory Access Controls (MAC) and Compartmented-Mode Workstation extensions for the Mac OS X kernel, which were integrated by FreeBSD, Open Darwin, and Apple.

Patrick LeBlanc earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of California, Davis from 1994 to 1999. Patrick later pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science at the same university, completing it from 1999 to 2001.
