Marcela Rodríguez

Marcela Rodríguez has over 18 years of experience in graphic design and related roles. Marcela currently works as a Graphic Designer at Establishment Labs, a position they started in December 2021. Prior to this, Marcela worked as a freelance graphic designer, providing their services since January 2006. Marcela also held the position of Graphic Design Senior at Jotabequ Grey from November 2018 to November 2021. Marcela has worked at various other companies throughout their career, including J. Walter Thompson Worldwide, House Rapp Central America, Ingenio Arte y Comunicación, Alvimundo, and Impresión Total, where they gained valuable experience as a graphic designer and customer service representative.

Marcela Rodríguez completed their Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design at Universidad Americana (CR) from 2000 to 2003. During the same period, they also pursued studies in Sociology at Universidad de Costa Rica UCR without completing the degree. In 2021, they attended Coderhouse and obtained a degree in Diseño y comunicación visual, general, with a specialization in UX/UI Design. Marcela has additional certifications in Design Thinking for Innovation from Coursera, obtained in December 2020, and in Ser más creativos from Coursera, also obtained in December 2020. Marcela also acquired advanced knowledge in UX/UI Design from Coderhouse in 2021.
