Philip Curran

Philip Curran has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Philip began their career as a Senior Operator at GTECH S.p.A. in 2003, and later transitioned to become a QA Software Engineer II at GTECH in 2007. From there, Philip joined eShopWorld in 2014, starting as a QA Lead and later being promoted to QA Manager. During their time at eShopWorld, they successfully built the QA Department from 1 person to a team of 30+, implementing various test strategies across multiple teams. Most recently, Philip has been working at ESW as the Director of Quality since April 2019.

Philip Curran completed a Higher Diploma in Science in Computing from Technological University Dublin from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in Film, Literature, and Drama from Dublin Business School, where they studied from 2006 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained certifications such as Certified SAFe® 4 Advanced Scrum Master and Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. Philip also holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from SQT Training Ltd.
