Thiago Schmitz

Thiago Schmitz has a diverse range of work experience in web development and engineering. Thiago is currently the Engineering Lead at ESW, where they lead the Platform UI Team and oversees major projects such as the development of the company's Design System and the creation of the developer's portal. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal UI Developer and Senior UI Developer at ESW, where they played a key role in building and maintaining a service portal for clients using Angular and microfrontend approaches.

Before joining ESW, Thiago worked at Travelport as a Web Developer, where they developed a Progressive Web App (PWA) from scratch, focusing on offline functionality and push notifications. Thiago also has experience as a Web Developer at Fundação CERTI, where they worked on web applications using AngularJS. Earlier in their career, Thiago worked as a Web Developer at Intelbras.

Thiago Schmitz completed their education from 2009 to 2014 at the Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina, where they obtained a degree in Electrical Engineering. Thiago also holds a certification in Microsoft Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft, which was obtained at an unspecified date in 2021.
