Andrew Blute

Andrew Blute, CFA, MBA has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Andrew is currently working as the Investment Operations Lead at Ethic since October 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Operations at FutureProof Technologies from July 2020 to October 2021.

Andrew also has a significant tenure at Fidelity Investments, where they held multiple roles. Andrew began as a Quantitative Analyst in June 2011 and transitioned to become a Portfolio Associate in December 2013. Further, they served as a Portfolio Analyst from December 2014 to March 2017, providing valuable insights on risk exposures within tax-sensitive investment strategies. Andrew then worked as an Investment Architect, designing innovative investment products and launching Separately Managed Account (SMA) product strategies. During their time at Fidelity Investments, Andrew also utilized machine learning techniques to enhance the efficiency of automated trading.

Earlier in their career, Andrew had the opportunity to work as a Tutor at Connors Family Learning Center and as a Research Assistant at the Center for Retirement Research at Boston College. Andrew also gained valuable experience as a Full-time Intern at Forrester Research.

Andrew Blute, CFA, MBA has a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Economics from Boston College (2008-2012). Andrew then pursued an MBA at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business (2018-2020) with a focus on Business Administration and Management. In 2013, Andrew obtained a certification from the CFA Institute, and in 2016, they completed a program in Data Science at General Assembly.
