Angie Pillier

DEI Lead at Ethical Culture Fieldston School

Angie Pillier has extensive work experience in the field of education and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Angie is currently working as a DEI Lead and Assistant Director for DEI at Ethical Culture Fieldston School, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Diversity Coordinator at The IDEAL School of Manhattan from 2020 to 2022. Before that, they served as a SEED Leader and Learning Support Specialist at Poly Prep Country Day School from 2018 to 2020. Angie also worked as a Special Education Teacher at NYCDOE High School of Arts and Technology from 2017 to 2019. Angie has held various educational leadership roles including Assistant Principal High School at OCS from 2016 to 2017 and 9th Grade Academic Dean at The Renaissance Charter High School for Innovation from 2014 to 2016. Angie also worked as a Special Education Coordinator and Special Education Teacher at Bronx Prep Charter School from 2010 to 2013, and as a Special Education Teacher at Opportunity Charter School from 2007 to 2010.

Angie Pillier attended Tufts University from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Spanish Language and Literature. Angie then pursued a Dual Master of Science (MS) degree in General and Special Education and Teaching at Touro University.
