Shelley Topping-Omodunbi has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Shelley began their career as a School Social Worker at Community Partnerships Charter School in September 2005, where they worked until June 2008. In September 2008, they joined Fordham University as a Program Director-LPP, a role they held for seven years until September 2015. In November 2015, Shelley joined Ethical Culture Fieldston School as the Director of Community Partnership, a position they currently hold. Shelley Topping-Omodunbi obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Urban Studies/Affairs from Wellesley College in 2000. Shelley then pursued a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in Children and Family Services from Columbia University School of Social Work, completing it in 2005.

For over 130 years the Ethical Culture Fieldston School has been committed to excellence in education as it seeks to develop the intellectual, artistic and moral potential of its students. ECFS serves approximately 1,700 students and 325 faculty and staff in four divisions; Ethical Culture, Fieldston Lower, Fieldston Middle, and Fieldston Upper. Ethical Culture is located in midtown Manhattan on Central Park West, in a six-story, turn-of-the-century school building; the other divisions share an 18-acre campus in the Riverdale section of the Bronx.
