Michael Kohlstrand

Michael Kohlstrand is an accomplished executive in the aviation industry, currently serving as Vice President of Regional Business Development for the Western Region at Etihad since April 2013. In this role, Michael leads commercial strategy and analytics for the Americas and European sales teams, driving innovative sales distribution strategies to meet revenue targets. Previously, Michael held the position of Vice President of Western USA, where leadership was provided to sales teams in Los Angeles and San Francisco, alongside mentoring account managers and sales staff. Prior experience includes roles at Virgin Atlantic Airways, where Michael served as Sales Director for the Western Region and Strategic Partnership Manager, as well as at British Airways, where a successful partnership development strategy was managed. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Studies, Business, and Spanish from the University of Michigan.
