Cahit Cokal

Cahit Cokal has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Cahit started their career as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Işık Üniversitesi, where they also worked as a Scientific Researcher for a Tübitak Scientific Project. During this time, they focused on the security of chaotic cryptosystems and published international journal papers.

After that, Cahit worked as a Senior Software Designer and Developer at NETAŞ, where they developed software for Automatic Call Distribution features. Cahit then joined Turk Telekom as a Senior Software Developer and Solution Architect, designing software and integration architecture for large-scale projects in various domains.

Cahit continued their career at Amadeus IT Group, where they worked as a Technical Product Owner and Scrum Master, responsible for bridging the gap between scrum team members, product managers, and pre-sales/operation teams. Cahit also planned releases and managed the product backlog.

At KoçSistem, Cahit served as a Technical Product Owner and Agile Coach, acting as a functional bridge between internal and external customers and the Scrum Team. Cahit also collaborated with architects and product managers to manage the product backlog.

Later, Cahit joined Techne Bilisim as a Principal Solutions Architect, working on E2E architectural solution design and documentation for Etiya and Ooredoo Oman Telecom. Cahit collaborated with business and technical analysis teams, as well as UX/UI design teams.

Currently, Cahit is working as a Part-time Instructor at Işık Üniversitesi, where they teach computer science and engineering courses and evaluates students' performance.

Throughout their career, Cahit has gained expertise in solution architecture, agile methodologies, and teaching.

Cahit Cokal's education history is as follows:

Cahit Cokal completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electronics Engineering from Işık Üniversitesi, starting in 2000 and graduating in 2005. Cahit then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Engineering from the same university, beginning in 2007 and completing it in 2009.

Afterward, Cahit continued their education at Işık Üniversitesi, where they enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Computer Engineering in 2020. Their expected graduation date for this program is in 2024.

In addition to their academic degrees, Cahit Cokal has obtained various certifications. Cahit received a certification in Scrum Master (PSM) from Scrum.org in October 2016, as well as a Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) certification from the same institution in the same year. In April 2015, they acquired certification in "Java EE 7 with Design Patterns" from kodcu.com. Cahit also completed several certifications related to Oracle databases and systems, including "Database 11g: SQL Tuning Workshop Ed 2 PRV" in July 2013, "Java Programming Language, Java SE 6 Ed 1 PRV" in December 2012, "Oracle Database 11g: Advanced PL/SQL Ed 2 PRV" in December 2012, "Oracle Weblogic Server 11g: Administration Essentials Ed 2 PRV" in November 2012, "Oracle Database: Program with PL/SQL Ed 1 PRV" in October 2012, and "Oracle Solaris 10 Operating System Essentials Ed 2 PRV" in July 2012.

Furthermore, Cahit Cokal obtained a certification in Progress Software from Işık University in May 2007.
