Henrique Castro

Henrique Castro has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Henrique currently holds the position of Commercial Director at Ettason, a leading Asian food distributor in Australia, New Zealand, and Hong Kong. Prior to this, they served as the Country Manager Indonesia for NES Global Talent from 2017 to 2021.

Henrique also worked at JAC Recruitment, where they started as a Senior Consultant before becoming a Team Leader and later joined the EC Desk. Henrique was responsible for executive recruitment and played a key role in establishing the company's presence in Indonesia.

Furthermore, Henrique worked as the Director of Asia Strategic Human Capital, a subsidiary of Asia Strategic Advisory group. Henrique provided human resources services to partners and clients, leveraging the company's extensive network in Japan and Southeast Asia.

Earlier in their career, Henrique held recruitment consultant positions at Monroe Consulting Group, specializing in the industrial sector, and also gained experience in business development at aicep Portugal Global. Henrique began their professional journey as an intern at IGCP.

Henrique Castro attended Escola Secundaria de Bocage for their secondary education. Henrique then pursued their undergraduate studies at Universidade Nova de Lisboa from 2005 to 2009, majoring in Economics. Following this, Henrique obtained a Master's degree in Economics from the same university, completing their studies from 2009 to 2010. In 2014, Henrique took short courses in Marketing at The Wharton School and in Foundations of Business Strategy at the University of Virginia. In 2017, they briefly attended The University of Western Australia, focusing on Agricultural Economics within the Agriculture, Economics, and Nature program.
