Raffaele Grimaldi

Raffaele Grimaldi has a diverse work experience in the field of ground segment systems and engineering. Raffaele began their career in 2007 as a Network System Engineer at Datamat. In 2008, they joined Elsag Datamat as a Ground Systems Deployment Engineer. Later that year, they moved to Telespazio Spa and worked as a Ground Segment AIV Engineer and GMES Sentinel-1 PDGS System and AIV Engineer. In 2013, they joined EUMETSAT as a MTG Ground Segment System Engineer Consultant, and later took on roles as the Ground Systems Upgrade Verification & Validation Manager and Ground Segment Systems Upgrade Project Manager, starting in 2016 and 2020 respectively.

Raffaele Grimaldi completed their education with a Master of Science Degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma. This degree program took place from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2005, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the same institution.

Before entering university, Raffaele completed the PNI (Piano Nazionale Informatica) Course at Liceo Scientifico "Talete" from 1996 to 2001.

Furthermore, Raffaele Grimaldi holds the Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification awarded by INCOSE. Raffaele obtained this certification in June 2021.
