Dev Saxena has a diverse work experience, starting as a Venture Capital Investment Professional from 2010 to 2016. Dev then transitioned to the Government of Canada, where they became a Senior Economic Policy Advisor, serving as a Senior Policy Advisor to the Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister of Finance, and also as a Director of Policy to the Minister of Infrastructure from 2016 to 2020. Following that, they worked as a Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) from 2020 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Director, Geopolitics and Technology at Eurasia Group, starting in 2022.
Dev Saxena completed their education in a chronological order. Dev began their studies at the University of Toronto in 2004 and graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree. During their time at the University of Toronto, they focused on Economics and Political Science as their fields of study. Subsequently, they continued their education at the Ivey Business School at Western University from 2008 to 2010, where they earned a degree in Business Administration known as HBA. With this educational background, Dev Saxena possesses a strong foundation in economics, political science, and business administration.
