George Parikakis

George Parikakis has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. George started their career at Societe Generale in 1993, where they served as a Relationship Manager in the Corporate & Investment Banking Division until 1999. From 1999 to 2002, they worked at ATE Finance as a Structured Finance Manager and Corporate (Leasing) Manager. Parikakis then joined Piraeus Bank in 2002 and served as an Area Manager in the Corporate Banking Division until 2009. In 2008, they also worked as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Piraeus, Department of Maritime Studies. Currently, they are employed at Eurobank EFG as the Head of Large Corporate, Shipping, Private Banking Credit Risk Division.

George Parikakis has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics from Panteion Panepestimion Ikonomikon kai Politicon Epistimon (1978-1983). George also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Indianapolis, U.S.A. (1992-1994). Furthermore, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Finance from the University of the Aegean (2002-2007).
