Andrea Schwaiger Calvo

Andrea Schwaiger Calvo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in corporate strategy and policy engagements. Currently serving as Principal Counsellor for Corporate Strategy at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) since December 2015, Andrea has also taken on roles such as elected Staff Council member and captain of the women's football team. Previous positions include Associate on the Financial Institutions Team and Policy Advisor on Non-Performing Loans, with a notable consulting role in policy analysis and project management. Prior to EBRD, Andrea worked at Accenture as a Capstone Consultant on Digital Government, contributing to a published work on public sector innovation. Additional experiences span various governmental and international organizations, including the European Commission and the United Nations. Andrea's educational background encompasses Master of Public Administration degrees from Columbia University and the London School of Economics, along with a Law Diploma from Heidelberg University and a B.A. in Law and Political Science from the University of Münster.
