Anna Nuzzolo

Anna Nuzzolo has a diverse work experience in communications and public relations. Anna has worked at the European Central Bank (ECB) in various roles. In their most recent position at the ECB as Team Lead - Internal Communications since 2017, they have been responsible for empowering employees in different service areas to communicate effectively. Anna established a team from scratch and achieved significant milestones, such as training over 700 participants and contributing to initiatives to change work practices through innovation and co-creation.

Before that, Anna worked as an Internal Communications Officer at the ECB from 2015 to 2017. In this role, they advised and supported communication to the organization's 5,000 employees on various topics. Anna developed communication strategies, created content, and organized successful events.

Anna also worked as a Press Officer at the ECB for a brief period in 2015. During this time, they managed public relations activities, supported executives with media engagements, and contributed to enhancing communication with the public through digital content.

Prior to joining the ECB, Anna worked at Banca d'Italia as an Assistant & English Expert in the Institutional Relations Division in 2011. In this role, they contributed to organizing cultural events and activities involving the Italian central bank, the European Central Bank, and the Institute for Italian Culture.

Before their experience at Banca d'Italia, Anna had a role as a Market Infrastructure Expert in Communications at the ECB from 2010 to 2011. Anna focused on promoting a project to integrate the European market through web and media presence, events, and content redesign.

Earlier in their career, Anna worked at Banca d'Italia as an Assistant & English Expert in the Payment Systems Department from 2007 to 2010. In this role, they supported the management team with their engagements in Italian and European fora and committees.

Anna's first job was as a Research Executive at Research Solutions Ltd from 2006 to 2006. Anna conducted market research, wrote reports, and marketed articles for trade magazines.

Throughout their work experience, Anna has demonstrated strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to adapt to different roles and responsibilities.

Anna Nuzzolo has a strong educational background in the field of literature and linguistics. From 2006 to 2009, they pursued a Master's Degree in Literature and Linguistics at Universitá degli Studi di Roma "La Sapienza". Prior to that, from 2001 to 2004, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures, General at the same university.

In 2003 to 2004, they also had an opportunity to study German linguistics and literature at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Anna's educational journey began in 1996 when they completed their High School education at Liceo classico "Orazio" with a focus on humanities and classical studies.
