Päivi Pelli

Päivi Pelli is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in forestry and regional development, currently serving as a Researcher at the European Forest Institute since September 2022. Prior roles include Researcher at the University of Eastern Finland from January 2014 to February 2023, and multiple positions at the European Forest Institute from December 1994 to December 2013. Päivi also held key administrative roles such as Secretary General for INTERREG IIIA Southern Finland and Estonia at Varsinais-Suomen liitto, and Project Secretary for Itä-Uudenmaan liitto. Päivi's educational background includes a Master of Science in International Management from the Turku School of Economics and a Diploma in Corporate Communication from the Institute of Marketing in Helsinki.
