Antonio López-Istúriz White has extensive experience in European politics, currently serving as a Member of the European Parliament since July 2004, where roles include President of the Delegation in the EU-Mexico Joint Parliamentary Committee and active member in several key committees, including Foreign Affairs and Human Rights. López-Istúriz holds the position of Secretary Treasurer at the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies since 2008 and served as Secretary General for both the Centrist Democratic International and the European People's Party until May 2022. Prior roles include Adviser to the Prime Minister of Spain, José María Aznar, and various positions within the European Parliament and the Comunidad Autónoma of Madrid. López-Istúriz's educational background includes studies at IESE Business School and Universidad CEU San Pablo.
