Kim van Sparrentak

Kim van Sparrentak is a Member of the European Parliament since July 2019, focusing on Internal Market and Consumer Protection and Employment and Social Affairs. Prior experience includes roles as a Campaigner for WISE Nederland and WISE International, as well as a candidate for the European Parliament with GroenLinks. Kim has contributed to the Federation of Young European Greens as Co-spokesperson and campaign team member, and served as Communications Officer for Milieudefensie. Earlier career experience includes research and strategy internships with the University of Otago and Wellington City Council. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Urban Environmental Management from Wageningen University & Research and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Amsterdam.
