Ana Luísa Vieira M.D.

Ana Luísa Vieira is a highly experienced pulmonology assistant at Hospital de Braga, E.P.E., with a focus on neuromuscular patients with respiratory issues and sleep disorders since 2018. Ana Luísa holds competencies in Sleep Medicine certified by the Ordem dos Médicos and is actively involved in tuberculosis screening and treatment at the Tuberculosis Outpatient Center CDP Braga. As a principal investigator for clinical trials related to respiratory and sleep medicine at 2CA-Braga, Ana Luísa also serves on the Digital & Communication Committee of the European Sleep Research Society and is a certified trainer for the European Respiratory Society. In addition to clinical roles, Ana Luísa is an assistant professor in Respiratory Medicine at Escola de Medicina - Universidade do Minho and has previously completed a residency in pulmonology and participated in pre-hospital medical emergency services. Ana Luísa holds an MSc in Medicine from Universidade do Minho and a Certificate of Proficiency in English from the University of Cambridge.
