Abhimanyu Shanbhag

Abhimanyu Shanbhag is an experienced engineer with a strong background in aerospace and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as an Engineer at the European Space Resources Innovation Centre (ESRIC) since November 2023, Abhimanyu also holds the position of Mission Scientist at Team Tumbleweed. Previous roles include Payload Systems Engineer at Lunar Zebro, Systems Engineer at Da Vinci Satellite, and an internship as an ICE Cubes Payload Engineering Intern at Space Applications Services NV/SA. Abhimanyu gained early experience as a Project Trainee at the Space Applications Centre, ISRO, and as a Research Intern at Florida Atlantic University. Abhimanyu completed a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering with a focus on Spaceflight from Delft University of Technology and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Robotics and Automation from Nirma University.
