Elissa Bustamante, MBA, PHR has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning across various industries. Elissa has held multiple roles in human resources and management positions. From 2016 to the present, Elissa has been working at European Wax Center, initially as a Human Resources Generalist and steadily progressing to roles such as Human Resources Manager, Senior Manager Human Resources, and currently as the Director of HR and Total Rewards. In these roles, Elissa has played a crucial role in ensuring high-quality waxing experiences for guests and overseeing HR operations.

Prior to their time at European Wax Center, Elissa worked at Starboard Cruise Services, an LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton company, where they served as a Human Resources Specialist, responsible for compensation, benefits, and HRIS. Elissa also provided HR support throughout the employee lifecycle in all HR disciplines.

Elissa's earlier experiences include working as an Executive Assistant and Support to the CIO and Executive Team at Burger King Corporation, as a Teacher's Assistant in the College of Business at Florida International University, and as a Customer Service Staff member at Publix Super Markets.

Elissa Bustamante, MBA, PHR, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Human Resources Management from Nova Southeastern University, which they completed from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance & International Business from the Florida International University - College of Business, graduating between 2006 and 2010. Elissa has also obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute in 2019.
