Ali Mersin

Ali Mersin has a diverse work experience in the field of security and technology. Ali is currently working as a Senior Security Architect at EVBox. Prior to this, they served as a Solution Architect at Synopsys Inc for two years.

Before joining Synopsys Inc, Ali worked at Canon (Europe) where they held the positions of Security Domain Architect and Application Security Lead. Ali also worked as an HPE Security Fortify Presales Consultant at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and as a Security Assurance Senior Specialist at AVEA, where they gained expertise in security assurance.

Ali Mersin completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Izmir Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Ali went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Computer Software from the same institute, which they completed from 2005 to 2007. Additionally, Ali Mersin has obtained several certifications in the field of information and cybersecurity. In 2008, they became a Certified Secure Application Programmer from Lostar. Later, in 2012, they received the ISO 27001:2005 Lead Auditor certification from BSI. In 2014, they became a PCI DSS Internal Security Assessor under the PCI Security Standards Council. Following this, in 2017, Ali Mersin earned the CISSP certification from (ISC)² and the SAFe® 4 Certified Practitioner certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. In 2018, they obtained both the SABSA Foundation SCF and SABSA Practitioner SCP certifications from The SABSA Institute.
