Matt Draper started their work experience at Peak Gen Power Ltd in 2015, where they held the roles of Operations Engineer and later Senior Operations Engineer. In these positions, they were responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation and maintenance of generator sites, managing a fleet-wide monitoring system, and managing a team of Operations Engineers. Matt also modified generator controllers to enable new National Grid services and implemented a company-wide VPN system.

In 2020, Matt Draper joined EVBox as a Technical Support Engineer. Matt then progressed to the position of Senior Support Engineer and currently holds the role of Senior Technical Support Team Lead.

Matt Draper completed their Bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge from 2012 to 2015. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a certification titled "Managing Project Stakeholders" from LinkedIn in November 2020.
