Alexis Clymer

Alexis Clymer has a diverse range of work experience in the software engineering field. Alexis is currently working at Eve Air Mobility as the Software Development Lead for the Urban Air Traffic Management (UATM) Team. Their responsibilities include defining and documenting the high-level software architecture plan for the UATM Project, performing feature planning and estimation, and managing the software team activities and agile sprints.

Prior to their current role, Alexis worked at Crown Consulting, Inc. as a Sr. Software Engineer-2 & NAMS Technical Area Lead (TAL). Alexis was jointly responsible for managing aerospace, software engineers, and Ph.D. researchers under the NASA Ames NAMS contract.

Before that, Alexis held the position of Principal Software Engineer at UC Santa Cruz. During their time there, they designed and implemented various algorithms and capabilities in Java and automated test runs and performed data analysis using Python, CSH, and MATLAB for NASA's NASCENT project.

Furthermore, Alexis has experience working as a Software Engineer at Northrop Grumman Information Systems, a Senior Software Engineer at BAE Systems, and a Software Engineer at Boeing. In these roles, they were involved in various software development tasks, such as requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and integration.
