Jose Antonio Guerra has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jose Antonio started their career as a Technical Writer for Game Developer Magazine in Spain from 1998 to 1999. Later, they co-founded ICTI Internet Passion in 2000, where they served as a Full Stack Engineer and was responsible for leading the technical work. Jose Antonio successfully completed over 100 customer projects, including high traffic websites like Amnesty International Spain. In 2015, they joined Tuenti as a Senior Software Engineer, working on various components such as the retail tool and payment systems for Tuenti Mobile, a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) operating in Spain and Latin American countries. From 2018 to 2021, Jose held the role of Technical Lead for the NOVUM Movistar ES team at Tuenti, managing a distributed team of software engineers to launch the Novum app for Movistar Spain customers. The app gained millions of active users and consistently achieved high ratings on Android and iOS platforms. Currently, Jose Antonio Guerra is a Principal Software Engineer at Eventbrite, a role they have held since 2021.

Jose Antonio Guerra attended Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha from 1997 to 2003, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science. In 2010 to 2011, they enrolled at EOI Business School and completed a program in International Management for Small and Medium Enterprises. Additionally, in June 2015, Jose obtained a certification in Cambridge English: Advanced from Cambridge English Language Assessment.
