Nacho Viejo

Nacho Viejo has more than 20 years of work experience in various roles, primarily in software development and engineering. Nacho started their career in 2000 as a Graphic Designer at Grupo Intermark before transitioning to interface design and development roles at Criteria Networks and Open Sistemas. In 2001, they joined Jazz Group Comunicación as a Digital media consultant and Art Director until 2005. From 2005 to 2014, they worked at Indra as an Interface Developer, specializing in senior engineering roles. In 2014, they joined TAPTAP Networks as a Software Developer and later moved to Civitatis.com as a Senior UI Engineer in 2015. Nacho then worked at TheMotion as a Senior Software Engineer from 2016 to 2018. Subsequently, they held positions at Ticketea as a Software Developer and Eventbrite as a Senior Software Engineer and eventually an Engineering Manager, where they currently work.

Nacho Viejo attended Universidad de Oviedo from 1991 to 1996, where they pursued a degree in Ingeniería Técnica with a field of study in Informática de Sistemas. Following that, they enrolled in Escuela de Arte de Oviedo from 1998 to 2000 and acquired a Técnico Superior degree in Gráfica Publicitaria.

In addition to their formal education, Nacho Viejo has obtained certifications such as "M101JS: MongoDB for Node.js Developers" from MongoDB in March 2014 and "Certified Scrum Master" from Scrum Alliance in July 2011.
