Preeti Gupta

Preeti Gupta has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Preeti is currently working as a Staff Software Engineer at Eventbrite since July 2023. Prior to that, they were a Technical Lead and Scrum Master at BYJU'S starting from November 2021.

Before joining BYJU'S, Preeti worked at Paxcom India (P) Ltd - A Paymentus Company as a Senior Software Developer and Team Lead. In this role, they worked on various projects including UPS, utilizing technologies such as React, NodeJs, Microservices, Java, Kubernetes, Kafka, Cronjob, Kibana, Oracle, and MongoDB. Preeti'sresponsibilities included story understanding, technical design documentation, development, code review, unit testing, and Kubernetes deployment support. Preeti also facilitated stand-up calls with the implementation and development team and led the recruitment process for their team.

Prior to Paxcom India, Preeti worked at Paxcel Technologies (P) Ltd where they held the positions of Development Team Lead and Software Developer. In these roles, they worked on projects in domains such as ecommerce, finance, billing, payment, and utility. Preeti has experience in all aspects of project development including brainstorming, planning, development, and delivery. Preeti also played a key role in creating a product called Drutas from idea to reality, handling responsibilities such as development, design, deployment, QA, and onboarding clients. Preeti'sexperience also includes working on industry-leading projects like Telmar, VISA RPM, SBI Card, Dashbid, and Paxcom.

Preeti Gupta completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Punjab Technical University from 2008 to 2012. Preeti then pursued a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Data Mining & Sentimental Analysis from Amity University, Greater Noida Campus, from 2012 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Preeti obtained several certifications. In 2015, they became a Google Cloud Developer. In 2016, they completed courses in "Front-End JavaScript Frameworks: AngularJS" and "Server-side Development with NodeJS" from Coursera Course Certificates. In 2017, Preeti obtained a certification in "Multiplatform Mobile App Development with Web Technologies: Ionic and Cordova" from Coursera. Furthermore, in 2016, they completed a course titled "Getting Started: Agile Meets Design Thinking" from Coursera Course Certificates.
