Richard Andrasek

Richard Andrasek has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Richard is currently employed at Eventbrite as a Staff Software Engineer, where they are focused on developing and deploying advanced search technology for events. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at FLEXE, where they played a vital role in architecting and implementing new services and supporting the transition from a monolithic to microservices architecture. Richard also worked as a Technology Lead at Infosys, where they led a team of developers, mentored junior and senior colleagues, and improved the product through bug fixes and enhancements. As a Senior Software Engineer at Genesys, they were responsible for investigating and resolving bugs, and enhancing their PureConnect Dialer product across various tiers. Richard also has experience as a Senior .Net Developer at Generation Technologies Corporation, and as a .Net Developer at Control Systems International. Richard began their career as a Programmer/Analyst at Worldspan, where they developed high-throughput systems for back-end data processing for airline reservations.

Richard Andrasek obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Information Systems from Ottawa University, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. Richard later pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from American Sentinel College and completed their studies from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, Richard obtained certifications including AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2020 and MCTS SQL Server 2005 from Microsoft in February 2008.
