Christopher Somogyi

Chris Somogyi is an accomplished leader in research and development, with a focus on innovative technologies and business strategies. Currently serving as Chairman at EverCase, Inc. since October 2021, Chris is dedicated to advancing supercooling solutions for the preservation of foods and biologicals. Previous roles include CEO at Palo Alto Research Center (PARC), Business Development Lead in Cleantech/HVAC, and Chairman and Founder of BlueNalu. Chris also held key positions such as Chairman of the Board at Etaphase, Senior Vice President of New Ventures at Xinova, General Manager of Accelerator Services at Callaghan Innovation, and Managing Director at Auxin Innovation Corporation. Expertise extends to portfolio development at Intellectual Ventures, and board involvement with ScaleOut Software and the Technology Alliance. Chris holds a BSE and MS in Biomedical Engineering from Purdue and Tulane Universities, respectively, along with an MBA from the UW Foster School of Business.
