Jonathan Barnes

Jonathan Barnes has a diverse work history in the education and science industries. Jonathan worked for EVERFI as an Education Customer Success Manager and previously as a K12 Implementation Specialist. Before that, they were the Senior Coordinator of Guest Experiences at the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago. Jonathan also worked at the Morehead Planetarium and Science Center as a Camp & Science Stage Coordinator and Educator. In addition, they have experience with TrueAchievements as an Editorial Manager and Newshound. Earlier in their career, Jonathan worked at COSI - Center of Science and Industry as a Manager of Exploration Programs, Outreach Educator, and Educational Programs Facilitator.

Jonathan Barnes has a diverse education history. Starting in 2000, they attended The Ohio State University for five years, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Theatre, English, and Political Science. Following this, from 2015 to 2016, they enrolled in a Graduate Course at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, specializing in Nonprofit Leadership. Moving forward to 2017 and 2018, Jonathan obtained a Professional Certification in Museum Studies from Northwestern University. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications through LinkedIn, including "Account Management: Maintaining Relationships," "How to Speak So People Want to Listen," "The 3-Minute Rule: Say Less to Get More," "Tips for Learner Engagement," and "Embracing Unexpected Change." The most recent LinkedIn certification was achieved in February 2023.
