Dan Cornwell

Dan Cornwell has worked in the optical thin film engineering field since 2000. Dan began their career as a Thin Films/Optical Coating Technician at Barr Associates/Materion, where they operated ion assisted and electron beam vacuum chambers. Dan then moved to Materion in 2010, where they were promoted to Associate Supervisor and was involved in developing new thin film optical coatings. In 2014, Dan moved to ISP Optics, where they were Lead Technician, operating and maintaining 4 e-beam IAD chambers. In 2017, Dan joined LightPath Technologies as a Coating Technician, assisting in the installation and ramp up of an additional DLC coating chamber. In 2022, Dan began working as an Optical Thin Film Engineer at Everix Optical Filters.

Dan Cornwell has attended both Valencia College and Nashoba Valley Technical High School. Dan has also obtained additional certifications, including MRA Principles of Management in July 2013 and Project Management Professional from 11352.
