Young Adult Rare Representative at EveryLife Foundation for Rare Diseases

Karis Kelly is currently serving as a Team Lead Intern at On The Money Magazine since June 2024 and as a Young Adult Rare Representative with the EveryLife Foundation for Rare Diseases since November 2023. Previously, Karis co-founded and led Youth Medicine Today, a student-led non-profit organization focused on various medical specialties. Notable past roles include Co-President and Supply Chain and Production Team Lead at On The Money Magazine, where advocacy for financial literacy was paramount, and various leadership positions within the Junior Economic Club of Chicago. Karis has also contributed to research at Pioneer Academics and participated in a unique internship program with Lenox Hill Neurosurgery. Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Molecular Genetics, Epidemiology, and Film and Media Studies at the University of Rochester, Karis has a strong educational background that includes an International Baccalaureate High School Diploma and a summer program at the University of Chicago.
