Joel L. Hawthorne

Joel L. Hawthorne has extensive experience in executive roles, primarily in the zinc and steel industries. Joel L. currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer & President of EverZinc since August 2022. Before that, they were the Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Zinc from November 2021 to July 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of President and CEO at American Zinc Recycling Corp. from August 2020 to August 2021. From November 2017 to January 2020, they served as the Chief Executive Officer of Speciality Steel Works Incorporated. Before that, they held various roles at GrafTech International from 1999 to 2017, including President and Chief Executive Officer, Vice President & President of Enginneered Solutions, and VP Global Sales and Marketing, among others.

Joel L. Hawthorne has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from The University of Akron. Joel L. attended this university from 1983 to 1987. Additionally, they pursued further education at the same university, earning a Master's degree in Technical Education from 1987 to 1988.
