Christian J. Cerrada

Christian J. Cerrada, PhD has extensive work experience in the field of digital health and health outcomes research. Christian J. currently serves as the Lead Research Scientist, Digital Health at Evidation Health, where they have been working since March 2021. Prior to this role, they held positions at Evidation Health as a Digital Health Outcomes Senior Associate from April 2020 to March 2021, and as a Health Outcomes Research Senior Associate from October 2019 to April 2020. Christian J. first joined Evidation Health in September 2018 as a Health Outcomes Research Associate and continued in this role until October 2019.

In addition to their work at Evidation Health, Christian has also gained valuable experience in the industry through an internship at Omada Health as a Medical Affairs Intern from June 2018 to September 2018.

Christian's academic background includes roles at the University of Southern California and the University of Michigan, School of Information. At the University of Southern California, they served as the Director of Health Sciences Campus, Graduate Student Government from May 2016 to May 2018. During this time, they also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Institute of Prevention Research, specializing in statistical modeling and mixed methods research. Christian J. has contributed to 11 peer-reviewed publications incorporating multilevel modeling of intensive longitudinal survey data. Christian J.'sacademic journey began at the University of Michigan, School of Information, where they completed a graduate student internship in June and July 2015.

Christian's earlier experiences include a role as a Data Manager and Consultant in the Department of Family Medicine at Boston Medical Center from November 2010 to July 2013.

Christian J. Cerrada, PhD earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Health Behavior Research from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California between 2013 and 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Human Development with Honors and Asian American Studies from Cornell University from 2006 to 2010. Cerrada completed their high school education at Regis High School from 2002 to 2006.
