Kaushik Kothamasu

Kaushik Kothamasu started their work experience in 2016 as a System Engineer at Infosys. Kaushik then moved on to become an Engineer, where they were trained in application security testing and vulnerability assessment. At Infosys, they conducted vulnerability assessments for web applications of large retailers and telecommunication clients and obtained the EC-Council CEH v10 Certification. Kaushik also worked as a Senior Engineer at Infosys, where they performed vulnerability assessments for an European Banking expert, documented vulnerabilities, and provided remediation techniques.

In 2019, Kaushik joined Evoke Technologies as an Engineer in IT Security. Kaushik performed VAPT for clients from various industries, including manufacturing, legal, branding, and compliance. Kaushik also implemented and supported application teams in adopting DevSecOps methodology and performed security assessments such as DAST, SAST, SCA, and manual PT. Kaushik worked towards implementing DevSecOps, introduced teams to vulnerability management, and utilized technologies such as Fortify SSC, IAST, RASP, AWAF, and SPLUNK for log analysis. Additionally, they up-skilled to perform mobile application penetration testing.

Kaushik Kothamasu completed their Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering between the years 2012 and 2016. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including being AMCAT certified as a Corporate Sales Manager, Mechanical Engineer, Telesales Professional, and in English Comprehension. Kaushik also received AMCAT certifications in Proficiency in English, Collections Specialist, Corporate Communications Professional, Data Processing Specialist, and Engineering Trainee in Mechanical Engineering. In 2018, they obtained the CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) certification from EC-Council.
