Tara Fryatt

Tara Fryatt has extensive work experience in the field of project management and medicinal chemistry. Tara joined Evotec in 2001 as a Senior Scientist in Discovery Chemistry and worked there until 2006. During their time at Evotec, they also served as a Team Leader in Discovery Chemistry, where they co-directed medicinal chemistry activities for various collaborations and internal projects. In 2006, Tara joined ENS as a Principal Scientist and Team Leader, managing the Discovery chemistry activities of teams in the UK and India. Tara then returned to Evotec in 2009 and took on the role of Director of Project Management in 2020, responsible for managing collaborations and leading a team of project managers. Currently, Tara is the VP and Head of IDD Project Management at Evotec, where they established and leads the Discovery Project Management function, coordinates cross-functional teams, and manages project plans and budgets. Tara holds PRINCE2 Practitioner certification. Prior to their industry experience, Tara worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of St Andrews from 1999 to 2001.

Tara Fryatt obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Exeter, where they studied from 1995 to 1998.
