Barbara Turk

Barbara Turk joined EVRAZ North America in August 2019 to lead the company’s human resources activities across North America.

Most recently, Turk had been Global Vice President, Human Resources, and Chief Human Resources Officer at John Crane, a Chicago-based supplier of engineered technology and services to process industries.

Before John Crane, Turk spent 13 years with BP, first joining the global energy company in 2000. There she led a change management program across BP’s European business operations, and later developed and executed the human resources management program for BP’s rapidly-expanding U.S. Biofuels business unit.

Turk's career started at Storage Express, an Indiana-based self-storage company where she served as human resources manager for the new and growing regional business. Turk is a graduate of Indiana University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Management and International Studies. She also holds an MBA with a focus on Strategic Human Resources Management and International Business from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
