Lmhc Elana C. Jones

Elana C. Jones, LMHC has a diverse and extensive work experience. Elana started their career as a Teaching Associate at Citizen Schools in 2010 and then worked as a National Admissions Manager at City Year from 2011 to 2014. From 2012 to 2015, they served as a Board Member at Troubadour, Inc. In 2014, Elana started working as a Clinical Counseling Intern at John D. Runkle Elementary School and later became a Lead Teacher for Grades 2-3 at the Runkle Extended Day Program. Elana also had experience as a School Guidance Intern at Mary E. Curley K-8 School in 2015. From 2014 to 2017, Elana worked as a Childcare Associate at Healthworks Fitness Centers for Women. Elana then became a Clinical Mental Health Counselor at Arbour Counseling Services from 2016 to 2017. Since 2017, Elana has been working at Excel Academy Charter Schools as a School Counselor, where they provide counseling to students with various needs and also serves as the Head of the School Counseling Department, overseeing department meetings and professional development.

Elana C. Jones, LMHC completed their education in the field of psychology. In 2006, they received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from Wheaton College Massachusetts. Prior to that, they attended the University of Vermont from 2004 to 2006, where they also pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Later on, from 2013 to 2016, Elana attended Lesley University, where they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree as an LMHC Candidate, specializing in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus on School and Community Counseling.
