Richard Maguire

Richard Maguire has had extensive experience in various roles within the healthcare and life sciences industry. Richard began their career as a Sales Manager at NextBio/Illumina before moving on to become a Principal Analyst at IDBS. During their time at IDBS, they managed a team and focused on enterprise-wide translational medicine solutions. Following this, Richard worked at Oracle Healthcare as an Academic Medical Center & Research Specialist, where they utilized their expertise in genomics, big data, and analytics to initiate dialogues and open doors for colleagues. Richard then joined Linguamatics as a Business Development Manager, targeting payers, providers, and academic medical centers for natural language processing solutions. Richard later worked as a Contractor: Business Development Manager at Biofourmis, where they focused on patient-centric digital health analytics. Richard continued their contractor role at mdgroup, serving as the Chief Data Scientist and focusing on clinical trial patient recruitment and retention services. Richard then joined Quantori as a Senior Consultant, specializing in real-world informatics. Richard subsequently worked at ConcertAI as a Principal Lead, Technical Sales Engineer, contributing to closing sales and collaborating with the Data Science team. Most recently, Richard was employed at BC Platforms as a Sales Director, with a focus on life science for real-world data services and genomics. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Business Development as a contractor at Excelra, where they focus on R&D technology.

Richard Maguire attended the College of the Holy Cross, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics and History. Richard then pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing at Bentley University. Following this, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Physics from Boston College. Lastly, Richard attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, although it is unclear whether they obtained a degree or pursued a specific field of study.
