Amber Lesser

Amber Lesser has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Amber started their career in the US Navy as an Interior Communication Electrician, where they were responsible for maintaining and repairing communication systems on board the USS Ronald Reagan. After leaving the Navy, Amber worked as an Assistant Manager at The UPS Store, gaining knowledge in shipping carriers, rating, and negotiating. Amber then joined Kalu Yala as an Outdoor Recreation Intern and later served as an Environmental Education Intern at Wild Bear Nature Center. Amber also worked at the University of Colorado Boulder as a Recycling & Office Assistant and at Scott's Liquid Gold as a Creative Marketing Communication Specialist, where they led the creative for social media platforms. Following that, they worked at Moving Mountains, Inc. as an Administrative Assistant and later as an Operations Coordinator. At Bamber Travels, Amber co-founded the company and was involved in website building, blogging, traveling, and photo editing. Amber'smost recent experience includes roles at Shinesty, where they worked as a Warehouse Manager, Distribution Center Manager, Director of Distribution & Fulfillment, and ultimately as the VP of Logistics. Amber is now working at Excess Telecom as the VP of Logistics.

Amber Lesser pursued their education by obtaining an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Environmental Science from Broward College, where they studied from 2009 to 2010. Amber then furthered their education and gained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder, where they attended from 2011 to 2013.
