Eric Chung has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Eric started their career at Gap Inc./Gap as a Sales Associate in 2007, where they focused on customer engagement and provided store operations supervision. In 2009, they became a Customer Experience Expert, responsible for executing day-to-day action plans and ensuring effective store operations.

In 2012, Eric joined the University of Waterloo as a Community Manager, where they managed social media platforms and a blog. Eric then worked as a Marketing Specialist at TalentEgg Inc., where they implemented email marketing, social media marketing, and SEO strategies on a contract basis.

Eric also worked at TEDxUW as a Blogger/Content Creator, where they defined content and social strategy, set up processes and guidelines, and created blog posts. Eric'smost recent role was at Exchange Solutions Inc., where they progressed from an Associate, to a Specialist, and eventually became Manager of Account Management.

Eric Chung has a diverse education history that started in 2000 with their high school education at George S Henry Academy, where they pursued a focus on math and sciences and obtained their GED in 2004. After completing high school, they attended the University of Waterloo from 2005 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Chemical Engineering. Subsequently, Eric continued their education at the University of Waterloo from 2010 to 2012 and completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics. In 2018, they obtained a certification as an Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (ACSPO) from the Scrum Alliance.
