Clay Halvorsen

Clay Halvorsen is the Founder and Principal of Halvorsen Coach + Advise, established in November 2022. Halvorsen serves as an Executive Coach with Executive Coaches of Orange County (ECofOC) since May 2023, providing pro bono leadership development and executive coaching to nonprofit leaders. Presently, Halvorsen is also an Adjunct Faculty member at USC Gould School of Law since August 2022. Previous roles include Interim Chief Executive Officer at Pacific Marine Mammal Center, Senior Vice President and General Counsel at The Irvine Company, and Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary at Standard Pacific Homes. Halvorsen was a Corporate Finance Partner at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP from 1985 to 1997. Educational qualifications include a JD from the University of Southern California and a BA in Economics from California State University, Northridge.
