Richard Baumann has a strong work experience in the field of statistical programming. Richard started their career at The RAND Corporation as a Population Research Center statistical programmer from 1991 to 1993. Richard then moved to Amgen, where they worked as the Senior Manager of Real World Data Systems and Programming for over 23 years until July 2016. In 2016, Richard joined Puma Biotechnology, Inc. as a Senior programmer on a contract basis, supporting the clinical development of Neratinib and implementing a comprehensive turn-key application. Richard then worked at Therapeutics Inc. as a Principal Statistical Programmer from May 2019 to November 2019. Currently, Richard Baumann is working at Exelixis as an Associate Principal Statistical Programmer since September 2020.

Richard Baumann has a diverse education history. Richard holds a Master of Science (MS) in biostatistics from UCLA, a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology from UCLA, and has completed core courses for a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at California Lutheran University.
