Tanner Ball

Passionate about the energy industry’s pursuit of improved production, reliability, and environmental performance, Tanner expertly leads Exergy’s lab and field pilots from design and fabrication through construction and implementation. Leveraging 15 years of experience in mining, extraction, upgrading, tailings, and in-situ operations, Tanner focuses on research and development initiatives that will improve the processes and products that keep the industry humming. Before joining Exergy in 2018, Tanner supported project and technology development at Suncor Energy. Tanner holds a Bachelor of Engineering – Mechanical from Carleton University and is a member of APEGA.
