Learning Support Assistant at Exeter College

Hope Elliott has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2019, they worked as a Casual Worker at Top Quality Recruitment (TQR). Hope then joined The University of Sheffield as a Student Ambassador in March 2019, where they assisted with clearing, confirmation, and adjustment related tasks. Hope continued in this role until June 2021.

In 2021, Hope worked as an English Language Teaching Assistant at the British Council Assistantship program, where they were selected as one of the ten assistants to work in Belgium. Their responsibilities included conducting English conversation classes, answering students' questions about British culture, and preparing presentations on specific topics. Hope completed their role in March 2022.

Notably, they completed a Professional Relationships with Young People course from The Open University in July 2023, an Exploring Books for Children: Words and Pictures course from The Open University in June 2023, a What Happens to You When You Read? course from The Open University in June 2023, and an Introduction to Adolescent Mental Health course from The Open University in April 2023. Additionally, they obtained a TQUK Level 2 Qualification in Special Educational Needs and Disability from The Skills Network in July 2022, a Language Assistants Teaching English Online Course from the British Council in November 2021, and an MSE's Academy of Money Online Course from The Open University in October 2021. Furthermore, they obtained a Disclosure and Barring Certificate from The University of Sheffield in December 2020. It is worth mentioning that Hope also completed a course on the science of healthy eating and nutrition, although the specific details of this certification are not provided.
