Andja Carciu

Andja Carciu has a diverse work experience in the scientific research field. Andja started as a Laboratory Technician (Internship) at Genius lab ALBANIA in October 2017, where they demonstrated the capacity for performing various medical analysis and worked both collaboratively and autonomously. Andja then joined Vrije Universiteit Brussel in September 2019 as a Master of Science, focusing on their Master thesis project on the structure-function studies of B. anthracis S-layer proteins Sap and EA1. After completing their master's degree, Andja worked as a Research Technician at Ludwig Cancer Research/ de Duve Institute from August 2021 to May 2022. Andja then moved on to work as a Junior Scientist at Sciensano in June 2022. Currently, Andja is employed as a Research Assistant at ExeVir since June 2023.

Andja Carciu obtained a Master's degree in Molecular Biology from Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Andja pursued their studies from 2018 to 2020 at this institution. In September 2020, they also obtained a certification in Delivering an Authentic Elevator Pitch from LinkedIn.
