Ilya Silchenkov

Ilya Silchenkov has a range of experience in the technology industry. Ilya is currently working as a T-shape developer at Exness, where they develop features for Portfolio-Investment-Management using technologies like Microservices, saga pattern, and various types of DB-locks. Prior to this, they worked as an Education Mentor at Practicum, providing guidance on the Middle Python Developer course and sharing best practices in microservice architecture, Python, and common practices in Kubernetes.

Ilya also served as a TL at Bairro, a startup focused on e-grocery, where they successfully released a new backend version of the app within two months without any technical issues. Additionally, they decoupled the monolith repository into modules to create a more modular monolith.

Before their roles at Exness, Practicum, and Bairro, Ilya worked as a value-team TL at SberMarket (formerly Instamart). Ilya'searlier experience includes positions as a Backend Engineer and ETL Engineer at Avito, and as a Senior Backend Developer and Backend Developer at OMD OM Group. Prior to that, they held various positions at a previous company.

Ilya Silchenkov obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Informatics from the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute) from 2011 to 2015.
