Islam Menshawy

Islam Menshawy is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software development and management. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Tesla since July 2019, Islam has advanced through roles including Senior Staff Software Engineer and Staff Software Engineer. Prior to Tesla, significant contributions were made at Gap Inc. as a Senior Technical Manager and Lead Software Engineer from May 2015 to September 2022. Additional experience includes positions at Dealertrack Technologies, Micros Retail Systems, Egypt A-F, and ALPHA CO. Notable project achievements include the development of the Acasia Club Management System, demonstrating expertise in UML diagram conceptualization, database schema design, and system component development.
